Five for Friday

I have finally entered the world of Instagram. I'd love to connect with some of you established users.
Come and follow me, and I'll go an follow you.

One of my first experiments.

When I opened up my Instagram accounts, I quickly realized that juggling a personal account and a Not Very Fancy account was going to be a real hassle. As I do with most problems, I turned to Google. I'm pretty pleased with the answer I found:

It allows me to switch back and forth between accounts. You can't post from it, but it seems like you can do everything else.

I found this blog post to share with you.

Blog Post: Burn the Candles by Shauna Niequist

Candle 1

The point of the post is to use the gifts people have given you.
This is definitely a message I need. People give me nice things, and because the things are so nice and special, I save them. I've saved lotion, spices, coffee, tea, gift cards and candles. I don't really know what I'm saving them for, I just do it. This post is about using these special items that people have given you. They were given to you to use, and you are deserving. Don't shove them in a drawer, enjoy them now. Shauna's words are far more eloquent, so go read Burn the Candles for yourself.

Earlier this week, I blogged about the importance of teaching children how to follow directions, and I shared this little freebie.

And because this weather can't go unmentioned:
